The derived roads, tested
Big Eye Boy, Small Road and Cockroach Pig look like signal. We measured them on hundreds of thousands of live hands so you do not have to guess.
What they are
Each derived road asks whether the big road is "repeating its pattern." Big Eye Boy compares the current column with the one before it, Small Road with the one two back, Cockroach Pig with the one three back. Red means the pattern is holding, blue means it broke. Players then bet on the side that would keep the road red, or fade it.

Break-even for a Banker bet is 51.3%. Every derived-road rule we tested, in 12 variants, sits between 49.8% and 51.1% on live-dealer hands, and none of them held on fresh shoes.
Why they look like they work
Random sequences produce runs, mirrors and cycles at exactly the rate a fair shuffle predicts. On our data, dragons of eight or more appear 3.8 times per 1,000 hands online and 3.5 times per 1,000 in shoes drawn from a random number generator. The eye finds the pattern either way. A chart of an independent sequence is a chart of noise, however meaningful its shapes look.
The one place the road shapes carry information is the casino floor, where the shoe itself is not perfectly random. That difference is the story.
