The one that can be beaten
Dragon 7 pays 40 to 1 on a three-card Banker 7. Because the cards that make it are known, a count on the shoe tells you when it is favourable: about one hand in eleven, at an edge near 8% when it fires. That is a genuine advantage play and it lives on EZ Baccarat tables in casinos, not on live-dealer studio tables. The exact numbers.
The pair bets
Pairs become favourable only when the cards left in the shoe are concentrated in a few ranks, which happens in the last dozen hands before the cut card and only if you have tracked every card since the shuffle. Not practical from a stream that misses hands.

The rule
If you are playing a system on the main bets, side bets are a tax on the session. A 9-to-1 tie table is the only side bet under 5%, and even that is five times the Banker edge.

Dragon 7 in EZ Baccarat when counted; otherwise the Tie at 9 to 1 at 4.8% house edge. Everything else is 10% or worse.
Is the perfect pair bet good?
No. At 25 to 1 it carries about a 17% house edge, one of the worst bets on the table.
